Fiera lived in Lemos with her family. She had two older sisters and one younger brother. Her parents were not too pleased with her, as she showed little interest in anything that girls usually do, and was not of interest to any of the families they approached with elegable young men. Finally her mother and father packed her up with a few clothes and sent her on a dragonrider to Xanadu Hold in the southern continent, to join the weaver craft, since she seemed to have a good ability at sewing. She however had different plans. On arriving at Xanadu hold she met Lyllya, a sweet young girl who had also been sent to Xanadu hold. They wandered a bit and found that the clime in Xanadu was not to their liking, so they grabbed their things and convinced a dragonrider to take them north to Fort Hold, and the Harper hall, where Lyllya joined the Harper Hall as a probationary apprentice, and Fiera was given a job in the kitchen as a cook. Fiera found happiness in her job, and a good friend in Larissa, the assistant headwoman. They became good friends, and Larissa taught Fiera all she needed to know. While she was visiting friends in Xanadu, a hatching occurred and Fiera found herself to have impressed a pretty little blue firelizard, who she promptly named Skidle. She loved her little blue, and was happy to have someone to love and care for, along with the harper and healer hall apprentices, who seemed to have adopted her as a surrogate mother. |
