Trebore's history
Trebore was born in Keroon, to a family of herders. He was hard working, and intelligent, and when his parents asked him if he would consider entering a craft, he told them he wanted to be a smith. He traveled to smith craft hall across the continent from Keroon and applied, with a note from his parents. He was accepted as an apprentice at the age of 14, but by the time he was 18, he was restless, and had no desire to continue cleaning and assisting the journeymen and masters in the practice of their craft. After a long talk with the metal craft master, he was allowed to leave.

He traveled about the continent, working at various odd jobs. Cleaning stables, tending runners and fixing equipment. He did nothing to promote himself as anything but a day laborer, until he found a family in his home region of Keroon, who had no man in the family. He moved into the stable, and tended their runners and repaired things about the cot and farm as needed. While there he met Bredda, who was older than him, and found in him a willing partner to her hunger for someone to be intimate with. Although her younger sister caught his interest, yet he returned again and again to Bredda. When the cold season was approaching, and harvest was done, the mother of the family asked Trebore to be on his way. He moved on to other parts, and never went back.

After several years of moving about, he decided to try the southern continent, and traveled to Ista, where he took up with a transport ship, and offered to work his passage to the south. His offere was received with enthusiasm, as the ship had just lost some of her crew in a storm, and he seemed to be hard working. After several months of learning the ropes, he was allowed to take passage on a trip to southern. As the vessel approached southern, a storm took the ship and tossed it about. Trebore went on deck to help with the sails, and was washed over board.

He washed up on the shore of the south, and had the distinct impression that he had been pushed all the way there by soft round things. He always hoped it had been ship fish, or dolphins as they were called, but he never knew for certain. After wandering the beach for days, he became delerous and wandered into the jungles of southern, losing himself. When he came to his senses, he had no Idea where he was, and was so lost he never found a way back to the shore.

He used his knowledge to keep fed and sheltered, and made clothing as best he could from the skins of animals and the cloth he had with him. He had a belt knife and found some sparking rocks, so he could make fires. He matured and grew up during the time he was lost, and learned much of the ways of things on the southern continent. He discovered which plants were good for eating, and which were good for his ailments, and even found some that were good for fishing and othere odd things.

From time to time he saw dragon riders about their business, but they never noticed him, though he hailed them from time to time from the ground. One day he smelled food cooking, and wandered toward the fragrence, and walked into the middle of a settlement he later discovered was Xanadu hold. He met folk who looked at his odd clothes and wondered who this stranger was. Finally he went to the only place he felt comfortable, a new smith craft hall. He walked into the Craft Master's office and asked if there were somewhat an older gentleman could do for the hall. He spoke of his time at the smith craft hall in the north, and was appraised that it would do him no good here in southern. Craft Master Ciaran did find out about his experience with sailing, and after discussion with the Lord holder, assigned him as First Mate of the Pioneer, the vessel that had brought the folk to the south to build Xanadu hold.

After a long time, Trebore settled in, and obtained a feline, who he named Emeraldine, or Eme for short, because of her emerald green eyes. He also discovered to his delight, that he had a son from his liason with Bredda, and immediately took a shine to the young smith craft apprentice, Gaederon. His relationship with his son grew closer as Gaederon accidentally revealed his relationship with and love for Sillvena, who delighted Trebore with her sweetness and intelligence, as well as her astounding beauty.

Seeing the beautiful Sillvena, caused Trebore to wonder if there were someone to love and care for him, the way that Sillvena loved Gaederon. Someone he could love and care for, protect and treasure for his whole life. He met many women in the hold, some showed a bit of interest, but none touched his heart.

One day, a new woman came to the hold, and approached the lady holder for a position on her staff. She was shown the kitchen and told to make do with the drudges and things that were found there. She immediately took charge and made the best of a situation which had gone long untended. When Trebore came to the Dining Hall to replenish his stores on the Pioneer, Assylem showed him about the newly improved kitchens, and dining hall. He was delighted by her pretty face, her intelligence, the sweetness of her disposition, but especially the sparkle in her eyes, and the delightfully full and well proportioned shape of her exquisite body. He immidiately took an interest in her, but she shyly demurred. His pursuit of her continued for some time, until one day, she expressed her interest in him and he kissed her, to which she responded quite surprisingly, by kissing back more passionately than he kissed her.

From that point on Trebore found delight in her, and she found her heart completely given to him. They spent time together at every opportunity, and eventually she came to think of the pioneer as a second home.

When Trebore became ill with heart trouble, Assylem and her assistant Alexan came to the Pioneer to care for him. At this time, Trebore discovered his love for Assylem went beyond just being with her, and he proposed to handfast with her, which she accepted. With her tender ministrations and the suppor tof her assistant Alexan, Trebore discovered that he had all he needed to recover quickly. He also discovered that the young Alexan delighted him, and captured his heart, which he quickly gave to her as if he were her father. When he approached Assylem with the idea of taking Alexan in as foster, she agreed, and they asked the young girl if she would like to join the family, which she delightfully answered in the affirmative.

Trouble ensued as Gaederon came to know his new foster sister, and discovered he had a love for her which went beyond the love of brother and sister. It broke Trebore's heart to see this happen, and he did all he could to stop what would eventually only bring disaster for the two of them. When he asked Alexan what bothered her one day, she eventually told him of the beatings and abuse at the hands of her da, and other men and boys, which she had suffered. He body used by men and boys, and abused. He spirit smashed and damaged so, she could not see herself as the wonderful person she was.

Trebore eventually helped Alexan to know her worth, and after a terrible time of pain and anxiety between Alexan and Gaederon, they resolved their feelings one for another. Alexan had also come to love Gaederon as more than a brother, and they had kissed. This mis-behaviour came to Trebore's ears, and he did all he could to stop the two from huring each other, but things only got worse. Gaederon suffered deeply from the guilt of what he felt for his sister and became ill. Then Trebore became ill also from the frustration of preparing for the handfast ceremony, and the anxiety over the troubles of his son and foster daughter. Finally Gaederon and Alexan kissed one more time, and ended the mis-behaviour once and for all. Trebore now could rest from his concern, and watch his son and foster daughter deal with their feelings in their own ways, and recover their sense of self worth and happiness.

Trebore still waits for the handfast ceremony, and makes his plans with Assylem, waiting on the harpers.
